| Swagger gift store located in Lochmere Pavilion hosted their Holiday Open House Preview Night on Thursday, November 4th, 2010. Proceeds from sales that evening as well as sales of their special “Peace, Love, Swagger” t-shirts went to Nancy’s Butterfly Fund. | On November 16, 2010, Nancy's Butterfly Fund was pleased to participate in an event hosted by Ameriprise Financial Services titled "Wisdom, Wealth & Wellness: A Celebration of Women's Well-being" at the Umstead Hotel. We felt the focus of the event on women's financial health and businesses to be perfectly in tune with our mission, and enjoyed meeting and talking with all the participants and vendors present. We welcome opportunities such as these to communicate information about domestic violence and how financial barriers can be overcome in leaving dangerous situations. |
